Does fast charging degrade battery faster over time?

I've been using 65W charging on my OnePlus 12 daily for 8 months and I'm starting to worry about long-term health. Anyone have data or experience with this? Thinking of switching to 30W overnight charging.

There's research suggesting charging above 80% and high heat do more damage than charge speed. Try setting a charge limit to 80% in settings — OnePlus has this built in.
